how it began...
In the year 1983, in Rhodes at Afandou Beach, AVANTIS fish restaurant was founded by Constantinos Avantis. It was in the form of a little tavern by the sea. But thanks to the traditional flavors - enchanting and unique ways of cooking fish, it managed to meet special moments, serving and impressing many celebrities from Greece and abroad.
The greatest achievement however, is that it has managed over the years, to make local and foreign visitors combine fresh fish with AVANTIS fresh fish restaurant quality.
Today thanks to the sensitivity and passion from all members of the family, the restaurant which has been completely renovated, is located in a 6 acre lot by the sea, with reminiscent decor which urges the need for fresh fish to satisfy all of your senses.
A restaurant with a variety of seafood - but the KING of the menu which AVANTIS restaurant is well known for, is "FISH"! A blue and white beachfront restaurant with a warm and friendly environment, reminiscent of Greece, with spectacular views of beautiful Afandou beach, and incredible smells so close to you which open the appetite.
At Avanti fish restaurant we want to combine the authentic and traditional quality and high service. So we give our customers the opportunity to choose their fish, through a variety of fresh fish which are cooked on a traditional grill with taste and technique that only AVANTIS restaurant can offer you!
